Description

Orchard House is a late 18th/early 19th century house located on the west side of Main Street, St Bees. The house is constructed of pebble-dashed rubble with parallel roofs, rendered end chimneys, graduated slate to the front, and Welsh slate to the rear. A cast-iron moulded gutter is supported by brackets. The symmetrical two-storey, three-bay façade features a central part-glazed door set within a stone surround. There are two 16-pane sash windows in stone surrounds to each floor.
