Description
The forecourt walls, railings, and gate piers to Number 52, known as Redbourn House, date from the same time as the house itself. The walls are made of snecked rubble and stand approximately 3 to 4 feet high, featuring a ramped design with chamfered coping. The gate piers on the left are square in shape, set on a plinth, and topped with gabled capitals. The decorative cast-iron railings include pedimented panels that are separated by posts adorned with urn finials, and the gate matches this design.
