Farmhouse and adjoining barns. Farmhouse dated and inscribed over interior doorway I. & A.S. 1688, with early C18 extension and late C18 or early C19 barns. Mixed red and yellow sandstone rubble walls. Graduated greenslate roof with bottom courses of sandstone slates; coped gables and kneelers, with rendered chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower single-bay cement-rendered earlier portion to right; lower barns adjoin to rear in L-shape, forming overall U-shape, enclosing farmyard on 3 sides. Glazed and panelled door in heavy bolection architrave under cornice. Sash windows in stone surrounds. Yorkshire-sash windows to right. Barns have plank doors in segmental arches. Barn nearest house has buttressed rear wall. Barn facing farmhouse has central through cart entrance with flanking segmental-arched doorways. Brick extension enclosing farmyard and further C20 extensions to barns are not of interest.
