Description
The Height and former barn is a farmhouse and former barn dating from the early 19th century. It features incised stucco with V-jointed painted quoins and has a graduated hipped greenslate roof with stucco chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a lower L-shaped extension at the rear. The main entrance includes a four-panel door beneath a radial fanlight, set within a Tuscan doorcase. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by painted stone surrounds. The extension also has sash windows in painted stone surrounds, with smaller windows located at the extreme right. The former barn, which is positioned at right angles to the farmhouse, has blocked doorways and openings. A further barn on the property is not of interest.
