Description

The wall and gate piers in front of Blencogo House date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red sandstone ashlar, with part of the wall being roughcast. The wall features a quadrant design with a chamfered plinth and moulded coping. At the center, there are square rusticated gate piers topped with ball finials. This structure is listed for its group value with Blencogo House. The 20th-century railings and gates are not considered of interest.
