Description
No. 132 on Watling Street East is a restaurant and dwelling that was originally a house, built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stuccoed brick with a slate roof and features brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and stands three stories tall with a three-window range. The central entrance is a 20th-century door set within a shallow porch supported by Doric columns. The first and second floors have 16-pane sash windows, while the central windows on these floors are blank. The ground floor has a plinth and channelled rustication, with a band at the first floor and a sill band at the second floor. Giant panelled pilasters flank the first and second floors, supporting a plain entablature. The interior has not been inspected.
