Description
The Old Rectory is a late 18th-century rectory that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof. The building has a double depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front facade includes a three-window range of sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and 20th-century French doors on the ground floor, all set beneath flat arch heads. The central entrance has four-panelled double doors flanked by wooden pillars and topped with a plain entablature. The building is adorned with ashlar gabled parapets and has brick and rendered stacks at both ends. The rear and right sides are rendered. The right gables feature two attic casements with leaded lights, while the half gable has sash windows with glazing bars. Inside, there is a late 18th-century staircase with a quarter turn.
