Description
Russell House is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Flore Spring Lane. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and features a slate roof with a stone ridge stack. The house follows a three-unit lobby entry plan and has two storeys plus an attic, presenting a three-window range. To the right of the center, there is a four-panel part-glazed door set within a trellis porch that has a coursed lead roof. The house is fitted with tripartite 19th-century sash windows throughout, which do not have glazing bars. Both the door and windows are topped with timber lintels. There are two 20th-century gabled roof dormers, and the stone-coped gables are supported by kneelers. Additionally, there are 20th-century single-storey extensions on both the left and right sides of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
