Description

The Former Rectory is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of The Green in Paulerspury. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone, with the front rendered, and features hipped slate roofs and brick internal stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and is two stories high, with a five-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door flanked by sidelights and topped with a fanlight, all within a porch supported by slender fluted Greek Doric columns. The windows are 12-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors, except for a large full-height canted bay window on the right, which has a pyramidal roof. The building is shown as The Old Rectory on the Ordnance Survey map.
