Description

No. 49 High Street is an 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a corrugated iron roof and brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. A central 20th-century plank door is set within a 20th-century gabled porch. The cottage features 2-light casement windows throughout, all with timber lintels. To the left, there is a single-storey tiled extension. Inside, the cottage includes a stop-chamfered spine beam and a collar-truss roof.
