Description

The stone gateway located behind Number 13 and adjoining the back wing of Number 15 in Brackley was built in 1888, as indicated by a cartouche. It is designed in the Renaissance style and features an impressive round arch with imposts and an archivolt. The gateway is flanked by piers topped with ball finials. Above the arch, there is a curvilinear gable that contains a panel with a cartouche under a pediment.
