Description
The Red Lion Hotel is a two-storey building located on the east side of Market Place in Brackley. It is likely from the 17th century and features a modern boxed-out ironstone bar front added in 1923. The building has a stone slate roof with two gabled attic dormers. On the north gable end, there is a rebuilt stone base stack topped with a modern brick chimney. The first floor has late 18th-century sash windows. At the rear, there is a two-storey rubble wing with a Welsh slate roof and modern sash windows. To the east of this wing, there is a modern two-storey addition made of whitewashed brick.
