Description
The New Inn is a public house that was originally built as a house in the 18th century and consists of two sections. It features squared coursed limestone, ironstone, and coursed rubble, topped with a slate roof and brick stacks. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, comprising three bays; the right bay is a later extension indicated by quoin stones. The central doorway has a wooden lintel and a six-panel door that is partly glazed. On either side of the door, there are three-light casement windows with wooden lintels, wooden mullions, and transoms. The first floor has three irregularly spaced three-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels. The interior was remodelled in the 20th century.
