Description
Lexton House is a 17th-century house, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1691, and it was remodeled around 1800. The building features squared coursed ironstone and a tiled roof with stone stacks. It has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, with a total of four bays. The doorway, located in the second bay from the left, has a plain stone frame, fluted wooden reveals, and a six-panel door topped with a rectangular overlight. All windows are framed in plain stone and have 12-pane sash designs. The house includes hipped dormers and has coped gable ends supported by kneelers. On the right side, there is a 17th-century two-light cellar window with a stone mullion. The gable displays the datestone marked 1691/RW17. The interior has not been inspected.
