Description

Althorp features a ha-ha located on the north and west sides of the garden, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar, with coursed rubble and brick, likely designed by W.M. Teulon. The ha-ha includes a balustrade with panelled stone insets and piers at the corners and ends. At the junction of the north and west walls, there is a raised area with two broad flights of steps that are flanked by the balustrade.
