Description
This is a chest tomb located approximately 4 metres north of the northeast corner of the north aisle of the Church of St. James. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and is made of ironstone. The tomb features angle balusters and panelled sides. On the north side, there is a fragmentary inscription dedicated to "Elizabeth, his wife, died 1713." The west end of the tomb bears the date 1676, although no name is legible.
