Description
This is a dovecote dating from the 17th to 18th century, located to the rear of the Red Lion Public House. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof with a circular plan. The dovecote has a plank door with a wooden lintel and a string course that is positioned well below the eaves. It is topped with a conical roof and has a circular arcaded timber glover, which is capped with a domed lead roof and a large ball finial.
