Description

This is a house located at 1 West Street, dated 1733. It is constructed of chequered brick and has a 20th-century tile roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and was originally likely designed with a two-unit plan. The gable elevation facing the road features a one-window range of 20th-century casements. The ground floor window has a 19th-century wooden surround, while the windows on the first floor and attic are in their original openings, complete with brick arches above. There is a brick stack at the ridge and a 20th-century entrance on the left side. This house is included in the register as a dated example of brick construction.
