Description
The Bell Inn is a public house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with a plain tile roof, featuring brick end and ridge stacks on rendered bases. The building has a two-unit plan with a one-unit addition and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a four-window range.
A 20th-century gabled porch is located to the left of the centre, overlapping a straight joint. To the right end, there is another 20th-century porch along with a single-storey addition. The windows include a horned sash window to the left of the porch, a six-pane horned sash to the right, and a 16-pane sash window on the first floor to both the right and left. Additionally, there is a two-light casement window in the middle of the first floor and a small two-light window above the porch, all featuring timber lintels. The gables are stone-coped with kneelers.
To the left end, there is a lower two-storey part-brick 19th-century addition. Inside, the building has stop-chamfered spine beams.
