Description
These are three houses built in 1848 by E. Blore. They are made of squared coursed lias with ashlar dressings and have a plain tiled roof. Each house consists of two units, forming an L-shape. The buildings are two stories high and have a three-window range featuring casements with ashlar surrounds and cast iron diamond panes. There are two entrances between the windows at the front and one entrance to the side, all with 4-centred heads and ribbed doors. The end bay projects forward with gables, and the center window has a false dormer. Rebuilt brick stacks are located at both ends. The datestone displays the Spencer Arms in the flanking gables. This group is part of a planned set of ten houses and wash houses. The interior has not been inspected.
