Description

The war memorial, located beside the Packhorse Bridge over the River Cherwell in Charwelton, was constructed around 1920. It is made of Hornton stone and features a simple chamfered cross with a tapered shaft, set on a square plinth and an octagonal base that consists of three steps. This memorial is included in the listing for its group value.
