Description
The Old Forge is a cottage dated 1770, constructed from coursed ironstone rubble with an artificial stone slate roof and brick end stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a two-window range. The windows on the ground floor are 2-light casements with timber lintels. The building has quoins and a datestone inscribed with "WD/1770" on the right gable. The entrance is located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
