Description
The Post Office is a cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed of coursed ironstone rubble. It features artificial stone slates and brick stacks at either end. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a plank door with a timber lintel, which extends over a three-light casement window to the left. There are three-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, all with timber lintels, while the first-floor windows have stop-chamfered lintels. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams and an open fireplace.
