Description

The central gatepier at The Old Rectory dates from around 1800 and is constructed of ironstone with limestone dressings. It features a chamfered plinth and a pyramidal stone cap. The gatepier is positioned between a carriage entrance on the right and a pedestrian entrance on the left. It is included in the listing for its group value.
