Description
The wall and left gatepier at The Old Rectory were built around 1800, with some rebuilding in the 19th century. They are made of ironstone with limestone dressings. The gatepier features a chamfered plinth and a pyramidal stone cap. The wall extends to the left from the gatepier, runs along High Street, and then returns towards the house to enclose the front garden of The Old Rectory. It has a slate covering. This structure is included for its group value.
