Description

Lock Number 17 is an early 19th-century structure that was restored in 1869 and again in the 20th century. It is built from red and blue brick and features timber swing gates. This double-width lock has both upper and lower double gates and is part of a flight of seven locks on the Grand Union Canal in Stoke Bruerne.
