Description
Millhouse Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century, with an extension of one bay added to the right in the 18th or 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a slate roof with brick and stone stacks. It has two storeys and four bays. The doorway, located in the second bay from the left, has a wooden lintel with a stone hood and a four-panel part-glazed door. There are three-light casement windows on either side of the doorway, each with a wooden lintel and square stone hood. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel in the right bay, while the other first-floor windows have 17th-century moulded stone frames and two-light casements with wooden mullions. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to retain its original staircase and original roof timbers.
