Description

Home Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble banded with ironstone, and features an asbestos tile and slate roof with a central brick and stone stack. The building has an L-plan layout, is two storeys high with an attic, and consists of two bays. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows with wood lintels, and similar windows are found on the first floor. The right gable end is coped and has kneelers.

To the left is a wing that dates from the 18th or 19th century, built of coursed ironstone rubble and topped with a slate roof. This wing has two right bays, with one storey on the right and two storeys on the left. The entrance in the right bay features a wood lintel and a 6-panel part-glazed door, while a 2-light casement window with a wood lintel is located to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
