Description
This building is a school from the 19th century, which was converted from 18th century cottages. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and limestone rubble, topped with a thatched roof that features a bell turret on the left gable and brick stacks. The structure is one storey high with an attic and consists of seven bays. The entrance, located at the rear, has an arched stone doorway with a plank door and a 20th-century porch. The two right bays contain pointed windows dating from around 1840, which have wooden Gothic Y-tracery. There is a similar window on the left that is now boarded up. The four left bays feature a late 19th-century segment leaded window with 20th-century metal casements, and there are 19th-century gabled dormers present as well.
