Description
Pimlico Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a steeply pitched slate roof. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys plus an attic.
The façade has a four-window range, with a central entrance that includes a 20th-century door set within a moulded stone surround and a 20th-century Tuscan porch. On either side of the entrance are renewed two-pane sash windows in wooden frames, each topped with a keyblock stone head. To the left, there is a similar window, while to the right, a 19th-century canted bay window with a hipped slate roof is present.
On the first floor, there are five two-pane sash windows with wooden frames and keyblock heads, along with two 20th-century skylights. A small single-light casement window with a wooden lintel is located in the left gable. At the rear, there is a single-storey plus attic service wing that also has a steeply pitched slate roof, featuring a three-light casement window on the ground floor and a similar window above. The farmhouse is accented by limestone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
