Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1637, as indicated by the datestone above the right dormer. It has been altered in the late 17th century and 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a slate and tile roof, with brick and stone chimneys. It has a 2-unit lobby entry plan with a central back-to-back fireplace. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and consists of two bays. The central front doorway is blocked, and the current entrance is located at the rear. The windows are wooden casements with two lights and wooden lintels. At the rear, there are gabled attic dormers and two narrow gabled projections that rise to two storeys and an attic, featuring 19th and 20th century casement windows. Notably, there is a cellar under the parlour, which is the earliest dated in the region. The interior has not been inspected.
