The Rose and Crown is a public house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a thatched roof and features a brick stack. The building has an L-shaped plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and consists of three bays. The doorway is located in the left bay and has a wooden lintel with a 20th-century plank door. To the left, there is a quarter circular stair turret. The windows are fitted with wooden lintels and have either iron or wooden casements, typically with two or three lights. There is a gabled projecting wing to the left, which is also made of 17th to 18th-century limestone rubble and has a thatched roof, consisting of one bay and two storeys with an attic. Inside, the room to the left of the entrance features chamfered beams. The wing to the right was remodelled in 1984.
