Description
This headstone, dating from the late 17th century, is located approximately 4.5 meters south-west of the west corner of the south porch of the Church of St. Leonard in Aston-le-Walls. It is made of limestone and features a rectangular inscription plaque within a moulded frame. The plaque is adorned with decorative swags of flowers, draperies, and a winged cherub head at the top. Currently, no inscription is visible, except for the figures '9' and '4' at the base.
