Description

The Church of St. Leonard features a chest tomb from the late 18th century, made of limestone. This rectangular chest has a moulded plinth and cover, with corner balusters and panelled sides. While the inscriptions on the main panels are now illegible, the end panel includes a commemorative inscription for an Ashhurst who died in 1817. The Ashhurst family resided at Waterstock House.
