Description
Waterstock House features a wall and gate dating from the 18th century. The structure is made of limestone rubble and brick, measuring approximately 75 meters long and 4 meters high, with a return of about 5 meters at the north end. The upper part and the entire inner face of the wall are constructed from brick. There are two large stepped stone buttresses along the long section of the wall. Near the return, there is an 18th-century wrought-iron gate, accompanied by flanking panels that are decorated with scroll work and an elaborate overthrow. This wall and gate are likely remnants of a large walled garden.
