Description
Park Farmhouse, likely dating from the early 18th century and extended around 1800, is a farmhouse now used as a house. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble and uncoursed rubble, with an old plain-tile roof and brick gable stacks. The building follows a double-depth plan and presents a symmetrical 3-window facade. A stone band marks the first floor level. The front features a central 6-panel door with a rectangular overlight and early 19th-century 16-pane sash windows on the first floor. A longer sash window is located to the right of the door, while a renewed French window sits to the left. All windows are set within stone flat arches. A rear range, possibly dating from the early 18th century, has irregular window placement, including two casement windows with cross frames on the first floor. The roof is double-span. A small, single-storey rear wing was added in the late 18th century. Inside the earlier rear range, heavy door frames are present.
