Description
No. 64 West Street is an early 19th-century house located in Kings Cliffe. It is built from squared coursed limestone with an ashlar facade and features a Collyweston-slate roof. The house originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has a three-window range of leaded casements on the first floor, which are set under stone lintels with keyblocks. At the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows with iron casements and flat roofs. The central entrance features a part-glazed, four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above it, also under a stone lintel with a keyblock. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and stone stacks. There is a later 19th-century extension at the rear. Inside, there is a plain panelled dado in the room to the right of the entrance and a stick balustrade leading to the first-floor landing.
