Description
The ice house, located at Laxton Park, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and brick and features a circular plan. The building is set within an earth mound and has a square-headed entrance that is flanked by ashlar retaining walls. There is a later opening in the side wall. Inside, the chamber is circular and lined with brick, topped by a domed roof.
