Description

This structure consists of a wall and gatepiers located approximately 20 meters south of Ecton House, likely dating from the mid-18th century. The wall is made of squared coursed ironstone and limestone, topped with ashlar coping. At either end of the wall, there are rusticated gatepiers featuring plain cornices and pyramid copings. This wall is part of the overall enclosure for Ecton House and is included for its group value alongside other nearby walls and gatepiers.
