Description
The wall and gatepiers located approximately 50 meters southwest of Ecton Hall date from the mid-18th century. The wall is constructed of squared coursed limestone and ironstone, with ashlar gatepiers on the right featuring a moulded cornice and ball finials. There is a wooden handgate present. To the right, a rusticated gatepier is attached to the wall, which has a plain cornice and pyramid coping. This structure is part of the wall surrounding Ecton House and is associated with the entrance gates to Ecton Hall, with additional wall and gatepiers located about 30 meters southwest and 20 meters south of Ecton House, and another gatepier approximately 55 meters southwest of Ecton Hall.
