Description
No. 46 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century and mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front has a two-window range of 20th-century casements under wooden lintels, along with 20th-century French doors to the left, also under wooden lintels. There is some evidence of refenestration on the ground floor. A Lincolnshire roof dormer is present, and there is an ashlar stack on the left and a brick stack on the right. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing from the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have ceiling beams. The building is included for its group value.
