Description

The fire engine house, now used as a garage, is located approximately 15 meters north of the Rectory in Kings Cliffe Hall Yard. It dates back to 1813, as indicated by the datestone. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey. The gable end has plank doors, with a weatherboarded gable above. On the left elevation, there is a plaque that reads, "Erected by public subscription 1813." The interior has not been inspected.
