Description

The stables attached to the south of Home Farmhouse are now used as outbuildings and likely date from the late 17th century. They are constructed from squared coursed limestone and feature 19th-century pantile roofs. Originally, the stables probably comprised a range of four or five. The building is single storey, with a blank elevation facing the road. It has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. The rear elevation, which faces the farmyard, includes some 19th and 20th-century plank doors, all set under wooden lintels. There is a hayloft door beneath a Lincolnshire dormer on the right side. A one-bay link building attached to Home Farmhouse is likely of a later construction. The interior has not been inspected but is included for its group value.
