Description

No. 16 Station Road is a house with origins in the 17th century, but it mainly dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. The building is constructed from squared coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a slate roof. It originally had a two-unit plan and is two storeys high. The front features a two-window range with plain casements beneath renewed wooden lintels. There is a brick stack at one end, and a 20th-century extension with an entrance at the rear. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have a cruck roof structure.
