Description
Bryony Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed and banded limestone, topped with a Collyweston slate roof. The original layout was a three-unit plan, and the cottage is a single storey with an attic. It features a four-window range of 19th century style casements set beneath wooden lintels. There are also four hipped eaves dormers, which have 19th century style casements as well. A 20th century door, located to the left of centre, is also positioned under a wooden lintel. The ends of the building have been fitted with rebuilt brick stacks. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
