Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house on the south side of Main Street in Woodnewton. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with an ashlar facade. Originally planned as a two-unit dwelling, the house now features two storeys with an attic. It has a two-window front, with 2-storey, canted bay windows on both sides, featuring 20th-century casement windows and flat roofs. A central plank door is set beneath a gauged stone head. Two hipped eaves dormers, each with a casement window, are visible in the roof. Ashlar gable parapets are present on the right-hand side, and there is a brick eaves stack to the left and an end stack to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
