Description

Hill Tree Cottages is a pair of houses that have been converted into one dwelling. They date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and are built of squared coursed limestone with a thatched roof. Originally, each house had a single-unit plan. The building is single storey with an attic and features a two-window range, with a leaded casement window on the left and a horizontal sliding sash window on the right, both set under wooden lintels. There is a central eaves dormer in the attic that contains a casement window with glazing bars. The central entrance is a plank door also set beneath a wooden lintel. A brick chimney stack is located at one end of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
