Description

This is a barn range located about 30 meters east of Grafton Park Farmhouse, dating from the 17th to 18th century. The barns are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature steeply pitched roofs. The southern barn is thatched, while the northern barn has a roof made of Collyweston stone slates. On the street side of the northern barn, there are three ventilation slits. At the rear of each barn, there is a central wide doorway along with various later openings. The southern barn has a slender raised cruck roof construction and consists of three bays.
