Description

This is an 18th-century row of cottages located on West Street. The cottages are constructed of low rubble stone and have a stone slate roof, with brick chimney stacks. They are two storeys high and feature four three-light casement windows; glazing bars are present in the windows of Nos. 52 and 54. The doorways are plain, and retain good doors with six incised panels. The cottages are part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 36 (even), 42 to 46A (even), and 52 to 98 (even) on West Street.
