Description

The flight of steps with urns adjacent to the north front of Drayton House is an early 18th-century feature, designed in the style of Van Nost, with restorations made in the 19th century. The steps are made of limestone ashlar and are accompanied by four lead urns, each featuring classical bas reliefs, positioned on ashlar plinths. The gardens surrounding this area are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England Register of Parks and Gardens at grade I.
